Hydrocyclone cone

Hydrocyclone cone is a main part for hydrocylone separators. It is a device to classify/separate/sort particles in a liquid suspension.The choose of the hydrocyclone cone based on the densities of the particles.

Hydrocyclone cone exits

A hydrocyclone cone has two exits on the axis: the smaller on the bottom (underflow or reject) and a larger at the top (overflow or accept). The underflow is generally the denser or thicker fraction, while the overflow is the lighter or more fluid fraction.

Material of hydrocyclone cone

Polyurethane (PU) Hydrocyclone  cone is a special abrasion resistant polyurethane. Under certain conditions,the PU Hydrocyclone  cone can give three-time extra life than rubber one. GN usually use 4 inch cone for desilter, 10 inch cone for desander.
