Dual deck shale shakerprovides increased capacity without enlarging its footprint. Fluid Centering Technology maximizes fluid throughput by forcing the feed to the center of each of the two concave screen beds.
More API screen area increases capacity, potentially reducing the number of shakers required.

Dual deck shale shaker is consist of 2 shaker deck, 1st one is scalping deck, the scalping deck provides coarse solids removal, reducing the feed load on the primary deck, resulting in an increased life of primary deck screen panels.
Usually we use coarse screen mesh for the top shaker deck to separate large solids, and use fine screen mesh for the down shaker deck to separate fine solids.
During the 2 shaker deck process, most of the large solids have been separated out, it can less the burden of desander cone and desilter cone, so the desander and desilter can keep longer service life.
GN can design and manufacture various type of mud tanks, e.g. shaker tank, intermediate tank, mixing tank, storage tank, weighted tank, frac tank, trip tank, pill tank, water tank, diesel fuel tank, etc. Mud mixing and weighting pipelines are one of the most important pipelines in the oilfield mud system.
Take the 450HP workover rig solids control system as example.
There is a SLH150-45 jet mud mixer under the ③ weighted tank. The jet mud mixer can mix and weight mud in ② suction tank and ③ weighted tank. Sand pump and the hopper are connected by pipeline butterfly valves. The outlet pipelines of the sand pump are on the side face of the tank. The jet mud mixer outlet pipes are on the tank face. It is convenient for installation, disassembly and maintenance. As it shows in Figure V(Mud mixing and weighted system).
While mixing (all valves of the jet mud mixer should be at a shut state before using): firstly, filled the ② suction tank and ③ weighted tank with pure water. Then making mud respectively.
When making mud for③ weighted tank, start up the agitator of ③ weighted tank firstly; turn on the 2#6 butterfly valve of the jet mud mixer sand pump inlet and 2#5″ butterfly valve of the jet mud mixer outlet. Start up the sand pump; turn on the 6″ butterfly valve of the jet mud mixer while the sand pump working steadily. Add materials into the hopper contentiously. When the mud-making progress finishes, turn off the 6″ butterfly valve of the jet mud mixer, shut off the sand pump, then turn off the 2#6 butterfly valve of the sand pump inlet and 2#5″ butterfly valve of the jet mud mixer outlet. This is the whole mud –making progress for ③ weighted tank.

Fluids polymerscan meet your water and wastewater treatment needs. A wide variety of water soluble polyelectrolytes to coagulate and flocculate suspended solids from water effluent streams. They are used to increase the efficiency of settling, clarification, filtration and centrifugation operations. In the wastewater & water treatment industry, the terms coagulation and flocculation imply different mechanisms, as described below.
To accelerate the de-watering process, the drilling fluid is first treated with a coagulant to de-stabilize the suspended solids of the mixture. As used herein, de-stabilization refers to the process of neutralizing the electrical charge of solids suspended in the colloidal mixture, or drilling fluid, so as to reduce or breakdown their repulsive forces.
After de-stabilization of the solids, a flocculant is added to the drilling fluid to aggregate the de-stabilized solids so that when the drilling fluid passes through the centrifuge, the destabilized and subsequently aggregated solids do not break apart and cause the centrate, or reclaimed water, to become highly turbid and discharge wet cake solids. The flocculant has an electrical charge that attracts the de-stabilized solids, causing the solids to attach themselves to the flocculant. Attachment of the de-stabilized solids to the flocculant forms an aggregated network of de-stabilized solids called flocs. By de-stabilizing and subsequently aggregating the solids into flocs, the solids and water of the colloidal mixture, or drilling fluid, may be more easily and effectively separated in the centrifuge, thereby increasing the overall efficiency of the de-watering process.

What is oilfield frac tank?
Oilfield frac tank is used to hold water, or a proppant, when a well is being fractured. The material is held in a frac tank and connected by a hose or pipeline to a pump that will flow it down the wellbore at a high pressure to push open the formation and the proppant is used to keep it open.

What is the application of frac tank?
Frac tank is basically a generic term for mobile steel storage tanks used to hold liquids. Typically used for fracing wells in the oil and gas industry, a frac tank may also be used to store any liquids like run-off water, diesel fuel, glycol, oils, waste products, etc. They are usually 21,000 gallon single wall steel tanks, but are also offered as double wall tanks by Gaurav Associates of India, AFC Tanks, VE Enterprises and Truck Center of Fort Worth Inc.

GN has shearing pump for sale now, shearing pump can not be used on active mud system since it will shear drill solids and barite, these solids will also damage pump very quickly. only after processed by desilter or decanter centrifuge, shearing pump can be used for these mud, together with jet mud mixing unit.

1 Pump rotates freely by hand.
2 Check pump rotation and the correct rotation can be found by arrow on the casing.
3 Suction valve fully open.
4 Pump and suction line full of fluid for venting air.
Lubrication of shearing pump
1 Bearings lubrication:
Add a good grade of 10W30 weight motor oil until the middle level of dipstick. Don not overfill the oil. High levels may cause churning and overheating of the bearings. Oil should be changed every 90 days or 1000 hours.
2 Stuffing box lubrication
The stuffing box may be re-lubricated with grease as often as necessary to prevent the packing from overheating. It should be lubricated at least once a day.
Maintenance
All parts should be clean before assembly. This is especially important for O-ring grooves, threads, gasket surfaces, bearings and bearings surfaces. Any burrs should be removed with crocus cloth.
GNZS852 shale shaker is new designed to be used in the situation when the required treating capacity is not too large, and compact structure is needed. It is changed from the previous model GNZS832 shale shaker.

Dual and Triple GNZS852 shale shaker
The Dual and Triple GNZS852 shale shaker are single skidded units configured with a common back tank and center cement by-pass with gate valve. When fitted with Pyramid frame screen technology, the Dual shaker has the following area available for screening per API RP 13C: 4.2m2.
A low weir feed option is now available. The low weir feed design is one of the lowest in the industry at a height of 746mm.

World’s largest No dig rig and equipments manufactures like Vermeer, Ditch Witch and American Augers attend 2011 No-Dig Exhibition in Washtington, DC on March 31, 2011, and showed their new products there.
The main focus of the exhibition was definitely centered around pipeline rehabilitation, however there was a good representation present from the HDD industry. Vermeer, American Augers, UTI, Condux, Ditch Witch, and of couse, HDDBroker were all present.
Surprisingly, not one Ditch Witch drill was present, with their entire booth focused only on their newly acquired Hammerhead product lineup.
Vermeer featured their D20x22FX Geothermal drill yet again, and also brought along their newest offering, the D9x15.
American Augers featured their new “quick setup” million pound machine, at least through documentation and photos. Surprisingly, that machine can be set up and in place within 30 minutes, which is virtually unheard of in the large maxi rigs.
Shale shaker is consist of 6 components, shaker deck, shaker deck adjustment device, vibration motor, buffer box, electric start, shaker screen. Shaker deck adjustment device is an important components, sometimes users may have some problems to adjust the angle of shaker deck.
How to adjust shaker deck angle?
The following instruction is special for GN linear motion shale shaker, model GNZS703, GNZS852, GNZS63-3, GNZS83-3. The max angle scale for GN LMSS is -1 ~ +5°, rated angle range is 0 ~ +5°, sometimes if clients have special requirement for the angle range, we will revise the design shortly to meet his requirement, the max angle range we can reach is -5 ~ +5°.
There are lifter, pipe, lifter pipe, scale indicator, scale, connection plate, etc. When we make adjustment, handle wheel rotary by clockwise, shaker deck angle will be larger; handle wheel rotary by anti clockwise shaker deck angle will be less.
Shale shaker output angle adjustment can be operated under running and off. When finish the shaker deliver it, the shaker deck is 0°. When user operate shaker, according to drilling mud property and flow rate on job site, and adopts same screen, the angle is higher, the treating performance will be better while treating capacity will be higher. When drilling fluid is leaking on shaker deck, increase deck angle can get rid of fluid flow away.
